What is a URL and what does it stand for?

A url is simply the web address you type into your search bar or also referred to as the url bar at the top of your web browser screen. It is what’s used to find a website on the internet. Somewhat like a street address to find a home or business. For example, you would type in instantaccept.com as your url and it pulls up your desired website.

URL is the acronym for Uniform Resource Locator.
