The User Profile feature allows the merchant to process returning customers without the need to store sensitive and confidential customer information on the merchant’s server. Storing sensitive information requires secure servers, in addition to various certifications. PrismPay is CISP (Visa’s Cardholder Information Security Program) certified.

 

SSL Technology

The SSL security protocol provides data encryption, server authentication, message integrity, and optional client authentication for a TCP/IP connection. Because SSL is built into all major browsers and web servers, simply installing a digital certificate turns on their SSL capabilities.

 

Built-In Fraud Features

Customers using InstantAccept™ through the payment gateway integration have built in fraud tools that can be activated by a simply checking a box.  Each transaction submitted can be filtered through a comprehensive series of fraud prevention rules to determine potential risk. Configuration of these rules is under your complete control using our user-friendly Online Merchant Center merchant administration web site.  These features can be used in conjunction with the IPViking technology to enhance a robust prevention suite.

 

Businesses can block transactions that exhibit suspicious buying behaviors such as:

  • Block a credit card that is submitted and declined twice within 24 hours using different expiration dates.
  • Check City and State entries for validity against the zip code entered.
  • Check area codes for validity against the zip code entered.

Credit Card Numbers The merchant may block any credit card by adding the account to the block list.
Name Occasionally the merchant may wish to add the name of a problematic company or customer to a block list, so that they will be prevented from purchasing regardless of form of payment.
